Information We Collect

When you fill out a form on this site — for example, to request a free estimate — we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, phone number, email address, and details about your project.

How We Use Your Information

To respond to your estimate request or inquiry
To contact you by phone, text, or email about your project
To schedule and follow up on estimates and project work

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Third-Party Services

This website uses a small number of outside services to operate:

Formspree — processes and delivers the free-estimate forms to our inbox
Google Fonts — loads the typefaces used on this site
Google Maps — displays the embedded map of our location
Cloudflare — delivers and protects this website
Google, Yahoo, Facebook & Microsoft — optional sign-in providers for customer accounts, if you choose to log in with one of these instead of a plain email/password

Each of these services may collect limited technical data (such as your IP address) as part of standard web delivery. We encourage you to review their own privacy policies for details.

Analytics and Advertising Measurement

We use two measurement tools to understand how people find and use this website, and to see which pages lead to estimate requests:

Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google LLC) — tells us how many people visit, which pages they read, roughly where in the world they are, and what kind of device they use. We have turned off Google’s advertising features, so this data is not used to build advertising profiles about you or to personalise ads.
Meta Pixel (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.) — records that a visit or an estimate request happened, so that if we advertise on Facebook or Instagram we can tell whether those ads actually bring in work.

What this means in plain terms

Both tools set cookies in your browser and send information to Google and to Meta. That information includes your IP address, the pages you viewed, the time of your visit, and technical details about your browser and device. It does not include your name, phone number, or the details of your project, unless you send those to us through a form.

When you submit the estimate form, we record that an enquiry happened and which page it came from. We do not send the contents of the form to Google or Meta.

Meta may use the data it receives for its own purposes, including improving its advertising systems. Under some state privacy laws this kind of sharing is treated as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information even though no money changes hands. We never sell your name, phone number, email address, or any details about your home or your project to anyone.

How to switch this off

You have several options, all of which we respect:

Turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser settings. If either is switched on, this site does not load either tool at all.
Install Google’s official Analytics opt-out add-on.
Adjust your Meta ad preferences.
Block or delete cookies in your browser. The site works normally without them.

Or simply email or phone us instead of using the form. We would rather hear from you than measure you.

Cookies

This site sets cookies in two situations:

Measurement cookies from Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, described above. These are the only cookies we set on purpose, and they are not set if you have Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control switched on.
Technical cookies that some third-party services (such as Google Maps) set as part of normal operation.

We do not use cookies to serve advertising on this website. This site carries no third-party advertising of any kind.

How Long We Keep Information

Estimate enquiries and project records are kept for as long as we are working with you, and afterwards for as long as we may need them for warranty, tax, or legal reasons. Analytics data is retained by Google for 14 months and then deleted automatically.

Account & Data Deletion

If you created an account on our site (including by signing in with Google, Yahoo, Facebook, or Microsoft) and want your account and associated data deleted, email us at info [at] vascontractors [dot] com with the subject line "Delete My Account." We will process your request and confirm once your data has been removed from our systems.

Your Rights

You can ask us to review, correct, or delete any personal information you've shared with us at any time by contacting us using the information below.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
